It really doesn't matter what camera you?re using. Just fiddle around. Stop asking questions and start making mistakes so you can learn from them.

Don?t waste your time on forums because 90% of the time you will get stupid ***** on them which just want to argue to make them self?s feel better.

If you want a decent microphone you?re going to have to at least pay ?200 or up. Don?t bother forking out for them ?30 - ?80 mikes, they stink of poopa! You don?t want to be wasting your money so if you can?t afford a good mike, don?t buy a cheap one just use your D8 for now.

You buy a decent microphone; find it has a three pin plug which doesn?t fit your D8 so you have to buy a cable converter. Then you use it and found out that it?s too crackly. So you have to go out and buy a mini suspension rig to stop the vibrations from your camera. You go outside, the wind starts blowing and you can?t hear ****** all so you buy a foam windshield and get ripped off for a bit of foam then you invest in a furry windjammer. Then you come across a little hiss and find out you need a mini mixer because your D8 camera is stereo and you brought a Mono directional microphone.

Eventually it does all add up.

    Yours Faithfully,

    Wiggles.
